Tony Stark has built many things, but his most famous creation is the Iron Man suit! The red and gold armor is one of the most recognizable costumes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
Although Tony Stark has created nearly 53 different suits for different purposes and is continuously working on new technology for building advanced suits, every suit has some basic mechanisms in common. For example, all of the suits are made of extremely strong materials, each has a self-contained environment for protection, and are powered by multiple sources in case one fails! Other commonalities include repulsors in the hands which allows Iron Man to shoot a charged blast from the palms, jets in the bottom of the boots which allows the wearer to fly, and all suits are bulletproof. They are also connected to various communication and radar systems and are usually linked to J.A.R.V.I.S., Tony Stark’s artificial intelligence system.
All suits are created with the intention to increase strength, but different versions do this to varying degrees. The Extremis Armor is one of the most powerful! Created when a bio-tech weapon was released on the world, the suit combines the usual external plates with an under-sheath made with nano-tech. The Extremis armor increases Stark’s strength to the point that he is able to lift up to 100 tons, the same as a calm Hulk. His most powerful armor is the Hulkbuster! Designed specifically to take down the Hulk, it lets him lift up to 175 tons!
Not only can you see the Iron Man suit collection in the Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. Iron Man Hall of Armor, but you will be able to see how Iron Man uses his suit through our VR eye tracking simulator! You control where Iron Man aims by looking with only your eyes and locking in on targets with the blink of an eye!
